Queensland’s best places to live, work, and play

A new report from PriceWaterhouse Cooper has shown that Brisbane’s Inner Western corridor has become poised to take the prize of being the heart of Brisbane’s 21st Century hub. With improving infrastructure, transport, growth, great schooling and more, these areas are seen to be the best of Brisbane’s liveability.

The CityPulse report provides insights into a three-category index across SEQ, measuring how residents live, work, and play.

Within the LIVE category, Toowong came out on top, followed closely in equal 7th place with Ashgrove and Auchenflower.

Brisbane City naturally heads up the WORK category, with Paddington at 5th and Kelvin Grove at 7th.

PLAY is positively dominated by the Inner West, with Kelvin Grove coming in 3rd, Brisbane City 4th, Fortitude Valley 5th, Spring Hill 7th, and Paddington / Milton 8th.

It’s certainly interesting to read a report like this, solidifying what locals have known for many years – the Inner West is one of the best places to live!
