Why we love Bardon
Famously leafy and highly regarded as one of Brisbane’s most family friendly suburbs, the primarily residential Bardon holds a variety of great parks, mountainous backdrop, no through traffic, gorgeous forest and walking tracks and, increasingly, excellent cafe options.
Close to Paddington for shopping/restaurants/bars and is surprisingly central for such a “fringes of the city” feel, Bardon is a large suburb, which means that the properties enjoy much more generously sized blocks.
With many post-war homes nestled between traditional Queenslanders, many have taken the opportunity to develop grand contemporary homes in this area, and as such, the property values of the suburb have soared in some pockets. Being very close to the national parks and Mt Coot-tha also gives families plenty of space to grow and play.
